you know, if a spreadsheet that i've been entering data into doesn't look the way you want it to, it's ok. you can change that kind of thing pretty easily, or ask me to do it for you. the data will be the same no matter how it looks and i'm pretty sure that there's no call to go and DELETE THE WHOLE THING, thus wasting all of the time i spent entering. granted, it was only 30 or 40 minutes of work. but it doesn't exactly inspire me with a go-get-'em attitude to have to do the same work over again for what boils down to no reason.

whatever. they pay me the same whether i accomplish anything or not. i just work here.
