The Blog of the Week

in an effort to constantly bring you new and exciting things to look at while consistently expending less and less energy, tonight I inaugurate a new entertainment production-related program activity: The Blog of the Week. (see the link on the right?)

also, if you plan on checking up on this regularly, please keep in mind that within the language game operative on this particular blog, "a week" is not a techincal term referring to a period of exactly seven days but more of an evocative phrase designed to imply something equal to or possibly much greater than 7 days.

so, check this guy out!

i am not sure where exactly this blogger was when the residents of the first floor of Vincent House were holding the first (and then anemic second) annual Facial Hair Derby. i think, however, it is safe to say that even Bryan could have blown this guy out of the water. he would, if his "beard" were matched up against Walt Whitman, certainly have to be categorized as "much less gay."

the close-up shots of his face are undoubtedly the highlight of the affair. i probably couldn't care much less about what he's written in between the pictures, as i've really only given the posts a cursory glance. i can't get enough of the stubble! if i didn't already know better, i would say that a close-up shot of another man's unshaven chin is probably one of the least interesting or entertaining things one could imagine. so why is it that those pictures make me laugh on the one hand and think about pitching my razor with the other? i hope that, unlike those of us in the FHD, this gentleman has the cojones to take his facial growth all the way to the top. to you, Andy Lee (if that is really your name), I say, "keep up the good work!"
