if I turn my head to the left I can see the river. somewhat unsurprisingly, English rivers look a lot like American rivers. what is surprising, however, is that cruising tranquilly on this unremarkable English river I can see a white steamboat appropriately (or inappropriately) named the Dixie Queen. huh.
