Better Luck Tomorrow (2002)
Although I am going up against an up-and-coming public intellectual in saying this, I feel that it is my duty to speak the truth to power, preferably when power is uninterested in or unaware of what I am saying and therefore unlikely to respond. Despite what you might have read hyping this movie, it's merely ordinary; enjoyable if you like your movies slightly cliche and not particularly insightful. It gestures at a host of issues, but really avoids engaging with them in any kind of significant way.
