things i have discovered today:

(a) work goes much more quickly when too tired to think. i have gotten a lot done today.
(b) latin is much more difficult when too tired to think.
(c) i am getting sick. there is a little bubble of dry winter air living in my lungs right now.
(d) i get paranoid and emotionally overwrought when tired.
(e) some people actually still use "chinaman" as a blanket term for all people of east asian descent.
