Erratum

Point of linguistic curiosity.
In the United States, it is relatively common not unheard of to say:
“To err is human, to forgive is divine.”

In Italy, the saying runs thuswise-
“Errare è humano, persistere è diavolico.”
or
“To err is human, to persist is diabolical.”
